Jason Breves, professor of biology, with collaborators at Oklahoma State University, the University of Cadiz, and the University of Massachusetts, published an article titled, ", in the Journal of Experimental Biology.

Kahstoserakwathe Paulette Moore, Kanyenkeh:ka faculty-in-residence and lecturer at the John B. Moore Documentary Studies Collaborative; Angela Beallor-Press, MDOCS documentarian in community co-creation; Siobhan Hart, associate professor of anthropology; Sarah Kizuk, assistant professor of philosophy; and Xander Prince, assistant professor of religious studies, presented at the Haudenosaunee & Indigenous Matrilineality Symposium organized by . Their presentation, Matrilineal Knowledge and the Oh矇nton Karihwat矇hkwen: Reflections from our Treaty Partners, drew from MDOCS Co-Creation Initiative partnerships and a Fall 2024 Racial Justice Learning Community that explored how Haudenosaunee values and action from the foundation of the Oh矇nton Karihwat矇hkwen and matrilineal knowledge may impact and influence world view, pedagogy, and community wellbeing.

Kieron Sargeant, assistant professor of dance, recently served as a at the University of Wisconsin-Madison during their Black History Month celebrations. His visit was made possible through the International Visiting Artist Program, a partnership between the International Division and the Division of the Arts.
